✨ “Tolerance”

Tolerance is often mistaken for silence.

For enduring. For accepting what hurts.

But true tolerance is not self-erasure.

It is understanding—without losing yourself.

It is seeing difference without fear. Holding space without surrendering your truth.

Tolerance does not mean everything is right.

It means we choose not to respond with hatred when something feels unfamiliar.

It is the pause before judgment. The breath before reaction.

But there is a line.

Where tolerance endsand self-respect begins.

Because we are not meant to tolerate harm. Not meant to shrink to keep peace.

True tolerance lives in balance.

In compassion for others—and loyalty to yourself.

A quiet knowing that we can coexist without becoming less.

And that love does not require you to disappear.
