What Was Kept
No one opened the box anymore.
It sat above the cupboard, metal worn, edges softened by years of waiting. Dust gathered like silence around it.
Inside were things that didn’t belong to the present—letters, a photograph, a name no one spoke aloud.
She had climbed up once, fingers brushing the handle, feeling the pull.
The Arrow Warrior stirred within her—not to uncover, but to understand.
Some truths aren’t meant to be carried forever.
They are kept…until you’re strong enough to set them free.
