How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

For us,
it never really ended.

While the world slowly moved on,
we stayed careful—
because we had to.

My husband is still in the risk group,
with kidney failure
and other chronic illnesses.

So masks became
a part of our everyday life.

Not just during the height of it—
but long after.

In schools.
In hospitals.
In every place
where safety mattered more
than comfort.

At first, it felt strange.
Like the world had changed overnight.

But over time…
it became normal.

Not easy—
but necessary.

A quiet adjustment
to a reality
that not everyone sees anymore.

We learned to move through life
with more awareness,
more caution,
more protection.

And maybe also
with a deeper understanding
of what it means
to care for someone—

not just in big ways,
but in the small, daily choices
that keep them safe.

Because sometimes adapting
isn’t about moving on…

It’s about staying steady
in a world
that has already moved ahead.
