Not everything needs a reason.
Some things
simply are—
felt more than understood,
known without explanation.
I used to search
for meaning in everything,
turning moments over
like stones in my hand,
hoping clarity
would reveal itself.
But life…
doesn’t always work that way.
Some experiences
settle slowly—
like resin,
holding time within them,
preserving what mattered
without needing to define it.
And maybe that’s enough.
Maybe we don’t need
to solve everything
to honor it.
So today,
I let go of the need
to explain.
I resign
from the quiet pressure
of understanding it all.
Not in defeat—
but in peace.
Because there is freedom
in allowing things
to simply exist
as they are.
And in that space,
I feel lighter—
not because I have the answers,
but because I no longer need them 💜
