Constellation

A constellation
is not created by the stars themselves.

It is created
by the way we connect them.

Points of light—
scattered, distant,
unaware of each other…

until someone looks up
and draws a story between them.

And suddenly—
there is meaning.

A shape.
A myth.
A direction.

But the stars
were always there.

It is the pattern
that is new.

And perhaps
our lives are no different.

Moments—
separate,
unrelated,
sometimes even confusing.

A memory here.
A choice there.
A loss.
A beginning.
A turning point
we didn’t recognize
at the time.

Each one
a single point of light.

But when we look back—
when we step away
from the immediacy of it all—

we begin to see
the constellation.

The way things connect.
The way one moment
led to another.
The way something that felt like an ending
was quietly guiding us
towards something else.

Meaning
is not always visible
in the moment.

Sometimes,
it is something we create
later.

Not by changing what happened—
but by understanding
how it all fits together.

A constellation
does not erase the distance
between stars.

It honors it.

It allows space
while still holding connection.

And maybe that is the beauty of it—

We are not meant
to have everything make sense
all at once.

We are meant
to gather the pieces,
to live the moments,
to trust the unfolding…

And one day,
to look up—

and see the pattern
that was always forming.
