In response to Ragtag Daily Prompt:

https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/2026/03/23/rdp-monday-restore/

Not everything broken
needs to stay that way.

Some things
are meant to be restored—
not to what they were,
but to what they are becoming.

Restore
is a quiet word.

It doesn’t rush.
It doesn’t force.

It sits gently
in the spaces where something cracked,
where something faded,
where something was lost.

And then—
slowly—
it begins to breathe life back in.

A heart
can restore itself.
Not overnight,
not without scars—
but with time,
with truth,
with softness.

Even trust…
even light.

Maybe restoring
is not about fixing.

Maybe it is about remembering
who we were
before the world told us
to dim.

And choosing—
again—
to return
to that light.

Not the same.
But stronger.

Not untouched.
But deeper.

Restored.
