but one stands out like a quiet turning point
in the story of who I became.

It was during my first year in college,
when I was training to become a children’s nurse.
He was our main tutor—
teaching biology and chemistry,
subjects that once felt heavy,
almost overwhelming.

But something in the way he taught
changed everything.

He didn’t just give us answers—
he taught us how to think.

How to look beyond the pages,
to connect knowledge with real life,
to understand not just what something was,
but why it mattered.

He made the complicated feel simple,
not by reducing it—
but by helping us truly see.

And somewhere in those lessons,
something shifted inside me.
