She almost missed it.
A roadside sign—curved red markings, a warning to yield—but beneath it, she felt it: the pull.
Not fear. Recognition.
All her life, she had followed straight paths drawn by others, never questioning the direction.
But the Arrow Warrior doesn’t ask.
It knows.
Yield, the sign whispered—not to the road, but to the call.
She closed her eyes, feeling the invisible aim align within her chest.
When she stepped forward, it wasn’t a choice.
The arrow had already been released.
And this time… she followed where it was meant to land.
