Becoming
Becoming is not a sudden shift.
It does not arrive like lightning
or announce itself with certainty.
It is quieter than that.
It is the slow unfolding
of something that has always lived beneath the surface—
waiting,
watching,
breathing in silence.
“Genius is becoming something you were all along.”
Not gaining.
Not adding.
But uncovering.
Layer by layer,
we release what was never truly ours—
expectations, fears, borrowed identities—
until what remains
feels both unfamiliar
and deeply known.
“When I let go of what I am,
I become what I might be.”
There is courage in that letting go.
A soft surrender.
A trust that the self we are loosening
is not the one we are meant to keep.
Becoming is not about reaching.
It is about allowing.
Like the island after rain—
green rising through stone,
not because it forced its way through,
but because the conditions finally allowed it.
And so we become.
Not all at once.
Not perfectly.
But honestly.
