facade doubts curiosity bitter torn hit restless hope massive frail strip sting

Behind the facade,
my doubts move like insects in the dark—
small, quick, hard to name.

But curiosity survives,
even when the day turns bitter,
even when I feel torn
by every careless hit,
every old sting.

I have been restless, yes.
I have watched hope wear thin,
watched the massive weight of silence
make the heart seem frail.

Still, I strip away
what was never mine to carry.

And there—
beneath the ache,
beneath the noise—
something still glows.

Not certainty.
Not peace.
Just enough hope
to begin again.
