Luxurious

Luxury is often mistaken
for glitter.

Gold watches.
Silk sheets.
Rooms too large
for one person to fill.

But real luxury
is quieter.

A morning with nowhere urgent to go.
A deep breath that doesn’t hurt.
A conversation that doesn’t drain.

Time—
unrushed.

Silence—
without tension.

The luxury of being
exactly where you are
without needing to escape.

Some people collect objects.
Others collect moments.

Sunlight on the floor.
Coffee still warm.
A calm mind.

No velvet curtain
can compete with that.

True luxury
is not excess.

It is ease.

And sometimes
the most luxurious thing in the world
is simply
peace.
