Package Deal
Life rarely offers us the luxury of choosing only the beautiful parts.
Joy arrives holding hands with responsibility.
Love carries memories, scars, and stories.
Dreams come bundled with sleepless nights and stubborn hope.
Everything we truly receive in this life
comes as a package deal.
When we love someone,
we accept their past, their laughter, their wounds,
their bright days and their storms.
When we chase a dream,
we agree to the fear, the doubts,
and the long road that teaches patience.
Even happiness itself is not pure sunlight.
It contains shadows that remind us
how precious the light really is.
Perhaps the secret is not trying to separate the pieces.
Perhaps the gift is learning
to open the whole package
with gratitude.
Because the messy, imperfect bundle of life
is exactly what makes it real.
