In response to Di’s daily Prompt:
https://wp.me/p3RSgb-wex

Today I’m finally home.
After hospital lights and quiet corridors,
my little world has pivoted back
to familiar walls and soft chairs.
Healing is a strangely private thing.
No audience.
No applause.
Just the body slowly remembering
how to feel normal again.
So I sit here with a pot of tea,
letting the warmth settle into my hands.
Outside, life moves as usual.
Cars pass.
Dogs bark.
The world keeps turning.
But inside my small home,
everything is gentler.
Rest.
Tea.
Breathing easier.
And honestly,
a pot of tea in your own kitchen
is the best kind of medicine.
