Proponent

A person who stands for something.
Who believes strongly enough to speak.
To defend.
To keep going even when others walk away.

Being a proponent is not always comfortable.

It means questioning stories that don’t feel true.
It means standing up when silence would be easier.
It means holding onto conviction even when the crowd disagrees.

Sometimes it feels lonely.

But progress has always depended on proponents — people willing to say:

There must be more.
There must be truth.
There must be justice.

Every movement, every discovery, every shift in the world began because someone refused to simply accept the default narrative.

A proponent is not someone who shouts the loudest.

It is someone who stays when others leave.
Someone who continues asking questions.
Someone who believes that truth deserves a voice.

And sometimes, being a proponent simply means this:

Refusing to stop caring.
