If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?

Honestly?
I wouldn’t want to be someone else.
Not because my life has been easy.
Not because I’ve had no struggles.
But because every scar, every lesson, every quiet rebuilding has shaped the way I see the world.
If I had to choose, though — just for one day — I would want to be someone who sees the world without fear.
Someone whose body doesn’t flare.
Someone who wakes up without calculating pain.
Someone who moves freely, without thinking about consequences afterward.
Not for glamour.
Not for fame.
Just for ease.
I would want to experience what it feels like to exist without vigilance — physically or emotionally.
But only for a day.
Because truthfully, I don’t want another person’s story.
I’ve fought hard for mine.
I’ve rebuilt it piece by piece.
I know its terrain — even the rocky parts.
And there is something powerful about owning your own narrative.
So maybe the real answer is this:
If I could be anyone for a day…
I would be myself — fully rested, fully healed, fully free.
Just to see what that feels like.
