In response to Di’s daily Prompt:
https://wp.me/p3RSgb-w91

There were former versions of me
who carried doubt like a coat
that never quite fit.
They hesitated.
They questioned.
They tried very hard to please
a world that wasn’t always gentle.
It took a few quiet turning points
to understand something important:
Faith doesn’t always arrive loudly.
Sometimes faith is just
continuing anyway.
Trying again.
Believing that growth is happening
even when you can’t see it.
I don’t resent my former selves.
They were necessary.
They were learning.
They were doing the best they knew how.
And today, I carry faith —
not perfectly,
but willingly .
