Crazy

Crazy.

The word is thrown
like a stone.

Too emotional.
Too loud.
Too passionate.
Too unwilling to comply.

Crazy is often just
someone refusing
to shrink.

History is full of “crazy” people.

Women who wouldn’t stay quiet.
Artists who saw differently.
Truth-tellers who disrupted comfort.

Crazy is what you get called
when your fire
makes others uneasy.

Yes, there is chaos in the world.
Yes, there are minds that struggle.

But not every raised voice
is madness.
Not every refusal
is instability.

Sometimes “crazy”
is simply clarity
that refuses to soften itself.

I’ve been called crazy
for caring too much.
For not letting go.
For asking questions.

If that’s crazy—
then maybe sanity
needs redefining.
