Today’s Word: Forensic
In response to Alice DeForest word prompt:
https://wp.me/s9Zf6z-forensic

Forensic
Forensic means careful examination.
Not guessing.
Not assuming.
Not accepting the surface.
It is the art of looking closer.
Of asking what doesn’t fit.
Of noticing what others overlook.
Forensic work requires patience.
Detail.
Objectivity.
It asks uncomfortable questions
and refuses easy answers.
But “forensic” is not only for crime scenes.
It can be applied to life.
To patterns.
To words spoken and unspoken.
To histories that deserve clarity.
Sometimes healing requires a forensic approach —
examining the damage honestly
instead of pretending it never happened.
Forensic thinking is not cold.
It is disciplined.
It is committed to truth.
And truth, however slow it comes,
leaves less room for doubt.
