In response to Di’s weekly Prompt:
https://wp.me/p3RSgb-w9d

Here are this week’s questions:
1. Do you prefer your home painted in neutral colours with pictures or furnishings to add warmth and character?
I would say I love pictures — art on the walls that tells a story.
But I also like warm colours. A home should feel lived in, not like a showroom. Warmth matters more than trends.
2. Do you prefer wooden/tiled floors or carpets and rugs?
Well… carpets and rugs on tiled floors can be dangerous.
I’ve tried that combination — let’s just say I don’t need to audition for Aladdin anytime soon. 😂
Island tiles make sense here, but you have to respect them.
3. Do you have an outside patio, balcony, or decking?
Yes, we have an outside terrace — and honestly, we spend more hours there than inside.
Island life naturally pulls you outdoors. The light, the breeze, the sky… it becomes an extension of the living room.
4. Do you prefer a traditional bathroom with bath/shower or a wet room?
Traditional bathroom.
There’s something comforting about it — simple and practical.
Gratitude
I’m grateful for a home that feels warm.
For a terrace where we can breathe.
For light, fresh air, and laughter echoing outside.
And for not actually flying across the tiles like a magic carpet. 😄
