In response to Alice DeForest word prompt:

The word of the day is Early-bird

An early-bird rises before the noise.
Before the world scrolls,
before the phone rings,
before the day gathers its demands.
There is something sacred about early hours.
The air feels different.
Quieter.
Cleaner somehow.
An early-bird doesn’t only wake early.
She meets the day intentionally.
Coffee in hand.
Thoughts still soft.
Light stretching slowly across the sky.
Not everyone is built for dawn.
Some bloom at midnight.
But for those who rise with the sun,
there’s a quiet reward —
a sense of beginning
before the rush begins.
The early-bird doesn’t just catch the worm.
She catches peace.
