If there were a biography about you, what would the title be?
Phoenix Rising.
Not because it sounds poetic.
But because I have burned.
Some fires were visible.
Some were silent.
There are chapters in my life that were built on fear instead of safety.
On control instead of love.
On silence instead of voice.
Domestic violence.
Sexual abuse.
Words that look heavy on a page.
Heavier when they live in your body.
And yet — I am still here.
Rebuilding is not a single moment.
It is not a dramatic transformation.
It is small decisions made again and again:
• to speak
• to believe yourself
• to leave
• to heal
• to try again
• to trust carefully
• to create
• to love your children fiercely
• to not let bitterness define you
I have rebuilt my body.
I have rebuilt my mind.
I have rebuilt my voice.
And sometimes, I have rebuilt from nothing but ash and instinct.
So if there were a biography about me,
it would not be titled “Survivor.”
It would be called:
Phoenix Rising — Not Destroyed, Only Transformed.
Because surviving is one thing.
But rising?
That is an act of power.
