Fandango’s One-Word Challenge | 11.02.2026
In response to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge: https://mymindmappings.com/
Today’s word is “me.”

“Me”
was not encouraged.
I was taught
not to be egocentric,
not to take up too much space,
not to put myself first.
So “me” became quiet.
Moved to the back of the line.
Waited until everyone else
was settled.
But “me” is not selfish.
It is singular.
It is the voice
that lives in this body
and nowhere else.
The perspective
only I can offer.
The boundaries
only I can set.
If I erase “me,”
who carries the weight?
Who decides what is too much?
Who knows when enough is enough?
“Me” is not ego.
It is existence.
And perhaps
learning to say “me”
without apology
is not pride—
it is balance.
Because I cannot love well
if I am not allowed
to exist fully.
So today,
I practice the smallest revolution:
Me.
