Quiet Bloom
I learned to flower
in small, quiet places,
between grief and breath.
Petals opened anyway,
toward light I doubted,
toward hands that stayed.
Even bruised soil
offered patience,
and the stem remembered
how to rise,
soft,
still choosing color
over silence
at last today.
