Today’s word is: Bronze

Bronze
Bronze doesn’t shine like gold.
It holds its light deeper.
It is made by mixing—
fire and patience,
softness and strength,
time and intention.
Bronze remembers heat.
The moment it was tested.
The moment it became something
meant to last.
I think resilience is bronze.
Not flawless.
Not untouched.
But enduring.
It weathers.
It darkens.
It gathers stories in its surface
instead of hiding them.
I no longer want to gleam endlessly.
I want to endure beautifully.
To stand.
To age.
To carry my marks
with quiet pride.
That kind of strength
has weight.
