I sat down for a moment of leisure,
fully intending to relax,
breathe,
and absolutely do nothing.

Then I clicked a link.

Just one.
Harmless.
Informational.

Three hours later,
I had learned how to bake bread,
fix a washing machine,
identify five personality types,
and watched a video where a cat chases a laser
like it’s a matter of destiny.

Leisure, it turns out,
is rarely idle.
It’s just curiosity
with better seating.

So I closed the browser,
missed the laser dot of distraction,
and promised myself tomorrow would be calmer.
