Sick

It’s 32 years since I got sick with Lyme disease after a tick bite.

What followed has been an avalanche of consequences:

• Trigeminal neuralgia
• Chronic parotitis
• Sjögren’s syndrome

And this week came a new shock.
My heart is in trouble, and I will need a pacemaker.

Yes, I am sick.
And I am tired of what those buggers have done to my life.
