Write about your first computer.
Dailyprompt-1835

My first computer was a Commodore 64.
I bought it with my communion money — which still makes me smile when I think about it. While others might have saved for clothes, I was already fascinated by screens, keyboards, and the idea that you could create something out of code and curiosity.
The Commodore 64 wasn’t just a computer; it was an entrance into a new world. Games loaded slowly from tapes, pixels were chunky, and patience was required — but it felt like magic. That beige keyboard opened doors to learning, experimenting, and dreaming.
Looking back now, it feels like an early hint of the creative life I’d grow into. Writing, music, curiosity, exploration — it all started there, long before blogs, laptops, or smartphones.
Funny how some beginnings are quiet, humming softly on a blue screen, waiting for you to type your first command.
