Plant

I plant things quietly.
Not flags. Not lies.
Not evidence meant to rot in the dark.

I plant seeds.
Truths small enough to survive disbelief,
roots patient enough to wait out denial.

Some are watered with hope,
others with grief.
All of them insist on light.

One day, what was planted
will break the surface—
and no one will remember who doubted
the soil.
