You don’t need to believe in astrology to live it.
You already do.

Check your calendar and see what weekday you were born. Long before clocks and calendars, that day already belonged to a planet.

Intro post

We often think of astrology as something distant — charts, symbols, constellations far above us.
But astrology isn’t only written in the stars.
It’s written in language.

Every morning, when we name the day, we speak the name of a planet.
Most of us do this without knowing — yet the sky answers anyway.

I first noticed this when I learned the days of the week in Spanish.
Lunes. Martes. Miércoles.
Moon. Mars. Mercury.

Suddenly, time itself felt alive.

The seven-day week is not random.
It is an ancient rhythm shaped by astronomy, mythology, and human observation — a way of organizing life according to the visible heavens.

Different cultures dressed the planets in different gods.
The Romans named them openly.
The Germanic and Norse peoples translated them into their own mythology.
But the planets never left.

In this series, I’ll explore how astrology lives quietly in our everyday lives —
in words we speak, habits we keep, and the subtle mood of each day.

Vince calls me Mars Ha. I wonder if I was born on Tuesday. Nope – Wednesday, I just checked. I wonder what the feminine of Mercury is… checking Maia. That would have been a good name. Maia Morris. I like that. :) xxx

Oh, I love this, Marsha 💫Wednesday suits you — Mercury’s day belongs to storytellers, messengers, word-weavers and curious minds. And yes — Maia is perfect. She’s Mercury’s mother in Roman mythology, a goddess of growth, spring, and quiet expansion.Maia Morris… that has a lovely rhythm to it 🌱✨Funny how a simple look at the weekday opens a whole mythological doorway, isn’t it?Time has more personality than we think 💜xxx

True, but I ended up being Marsha. Mom didn’t know any better. Besides she was Martha, so Marsha was closer. I guess the daughter of the doctor who delivered me was also named Marsha, and Mom thought it had a great ring. Little did she know, I would lisp! :)xxx

That made me smile, Marsha 😊💫
Names always arrive with their own stories, don’t they — chosen by chance, love, circumstance… and then slowly shaped by the life that lives inside them.
Marsha has a softness and warmth to it, very human, very lived-in.
And the lisp? That just adds character — Mercury would absolutely approve. He was never about perfection, only expression 😉
In the end, the name doesn’t carry the myth — you do.
        And Wednesday still feels right.

Great blog! You’re already doing what you need to do if you want your life to be meaningful and fulfilling. Just check your calendar, see where you were born in the solar system, and you’ll find out how much influence the stars have on your decisions. No need for complex charts or symbols – just look at today’s date and realize that it’s the day of a planet, even if you don’t believe in astrology!

✨ I absolutely adore your delightful, conversational tone! You have a way of making astrological concepts feel like old friends you’ve been close to for a long time. The calendar example is such a great segue into discussing how our birthdays and anniversaries directly correlate with celestial events. This makes astrology so tangible and personal — almost like they’re telling us the moment we were born.
