Today’s word: Transmission
Transmission
Transmission — such a simple word,
but it carries worlds inside it.
It makes me think of movement:
how things travel
from one place to another,
often unseen.
Signals across the air,
words passed between hearts,
habits we absorb without knowing,
stories stitched into our DNA.
Some transmissions are gentle—
a look that says I see you,
a kindness that ripples past the moment,
ideas that change how we think.
Others are stubborn—
echoes of fear,
patterns we carry too long,
beliefs that no longer fit
but keep replaying anyway.
What do I choose to transmit?
My voice, my care, my presence?
Or the tension that settled
quietly in old rooms?
Maybe transmission isn’t just about passing on.
Maybe it’s about what we decide to send forward—
our intentions, our wisdom,
and the parts of us worth keeping alive.
