Respond to this challenge by either using the prompt word tight, or going with the above picture, or by means of the song ‘Against the Wind’, or by going with another song by Bob Seger, or a song that reflects on life’s journey, or a song that makes you think about relationships and meaning, or you can go with whatever you think fits.  ‘Against the Wind’ was written by Bob Seger and released on his 1980 eleventh studio album.

Tight — A Life Lesson

If I respond to your challenge with the prompt word tight, here’s what comes to mind:

Life becomes tight when we squeeze it between fear and routine — tight in expectations, tight in plans, tight in old habits we can’t seem to loosen. But sometimes we need to loosen the grip, breathe into the unknown, and trust that the wind will shape us, not just push us backward.

Being tight isn’t always strength — sometimes it’s resistance to change. What if we tried being loose with love, free with curiosity, and open to becoming someone we didn’t expect?

A Verse for Today

Run with your heart into the wind — not to fight it, but to feel it,
to let it remind you of all you’ve already conquered,
and all you’re still being called to become. 💫

Keep running — not despite the wind, but because the wind teaches you how strong your wings are.
