Callow
Callow is not an insult.
It is a beginning.
It is the softness of inexperience,

the mistakes made
before wisdom knows how to arrive.
We are all callow once—
untested, hopeful, certain we know more
than we do.
It is the stage where confidence
outruns understanding.
But callow is not fixed.
It is temporary.
A season, not a sentence.
What matters
is not that we were callow,
but whether we stayed curious,
whether we allowed experience
to deepen us
instead of hardening us.
