I made a cup of tea,
balanced perfectly,
ready for a peaceful moment.
Then life arrived
and thrown it was —
not dramatically,
just that slow-motion wobble
that ends in regret.
A tuppence rolled across the floor,
the tea splashed dangerously close to disaster,
and I stood there wondering
how so little chaos
could feel so personal.
Still, I remade the tea.
Because some losses are minor,
some spills are survivable,
and calm can always be brewed again.
