Gratitude

1. Would you like to have your own private jet?

Sometimes — especially when all the flights between the islands are fully booked.
Island life is beautiful, but it does come with its own logistical challenges.

2. Would you like a chauffeur to drive you everywhere?

Yes. Absolutely.

Since my husband’s accident, I often feel like a full-time taxi driver.
Drive to the bus.
Drive the girls to friends.
Drive to the hospital with my husband.
Drive shopping… and then drive some more.

I wouldn’t mind sitting in the passenger seat once in a while.

3. Would you like to live on your own desert island?

A desert island?
Have you seen where I live? 😄

At times, Fuerteventura already feels like we live at the end of the world — in the best possible way.

So no — I don’t need another island. This one is enough.

4. Have you ever had anything made to measure?

Yes.
When I was in high school, I designed my own prom dress.
I took the design to a seamstress and had it fully measured and fitted.

It felt very special — something created just for me.

Gratitude

I’m grateful for movement, even when it’s tiring.
For islands that feel like edges of the world.
For creativity that shows up early in life and stays.
And for the quiet moments between all the driving, where I can simply breathe.
