In what ways do you communicate online?

I use quite a few platforms — each for different reasons and different people.

Facebook is where I stay in touch with family and friends. I also have a page called Justice for Liam- The AfterloveVoice, which is linked to my blog here.

Snapchat is mostly for talking with my kids in Norway — quick messages, everyday moments, and staying connected across distance.

I have two profiles on X / Twitter, but I rarely use them anymore. The platform has become very toxic, and I’ve learned to step back from spaces that drain more than they give.

Instagram… honestly, I’m still unsure how it works 😅
I haven’t invested much energy there.

I’ve used Threads a little over the past month, just exploring and seeing how it feels.

TikTok is where I promote my music — sharing snippets, releases, and creative moments connected to what I’m making.

WhatsApp is probably where I’m most active — everyday communication, practical things, and staying in touch.

And yes — Facebook Messenger gets a lot of use too.

I’ve been thinking about opening a Bluesky account, but I haven’t taken that step yet. Maybe soon.

These days, I choose platforms the same way I choose people —
by how safe they feel, how real the conversations are, and whether they allow space for honesty without noise.
