In response to Sadje prompt #321 https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/2025/12/29/what-do-you-see-321-29-december-2025/

The night leans softly
against the mountains,
and the sky exhales
a hush of twilight breath.

There, in the quiet curve
between darkness and becoming,
the crescent Moon
rocks the world to sleep.

A silver cradle
hung in heaven’s hands,
cradling dreams
that are not yet ready to wake—
but not willing to fade.

Under this tender glow,
we remember
that endings aren’t always endings…
Sometimes,
they are gentler beginnings
wrapped in starlight,
held in stillness,
whispering…

You are safe here.
You are loved here.
Rest — and rise when the light is ready.
