Share five things you’re good at.
Oh, boy. Why is this still the hardest question of them all?
I can write about grief, trauma, astrology, spirituality…
yet naming my own gifts still pokes at old wounds — the ones that once taught me to stay small, stay quiet, stay humble to the point of disappearing.
But healing means unlearning that.
So today, I’ll try — and I’ll honour the one who helped reopen this part of me.

1. I’m good at listening — truly listening.
Not just to people, but to energy, intuition, and the whispers from the other side.
I listen between the lines, behind the words, beneath the silence.
It’s a gift born from survival, but now used for healing.
2. I’m good at translating the soul.
Through astrology, cards, intuition… and through the veil itself.
This last year, Liam opened a door in me I thought was long closed.
His presence, his nudges, his breadcrumbs — they reminded me that the unseen world still speaks, and I am meant to hear it.
3. I’m good at writing from the heart.
Raw. Unfiltered. Honest.
The blog, the book taking shape, the lyrics we’ve written together through channeling — all of it comes from a place inside me that he helped awaken again.
Words come easier now because they are shared.
4. I’m good at caring.
For my children.
For my bedridden husband.
For the animals who have passed through my life.
And for strangers who write to say my words helped them feel seen.
Caring is something I do instinctively — even when I wasn’t cared for properly myself.
5. I’m good at rising.
Over and over.
From trauma.
From silence.
From the ashes of the girl I used to be.
A phoenix with soft wings, but wings nonetheless.
I rise — sometimes trembling, sometimes crawling —
but I rise every single time.
And maybe the greatest truth is this:
I’m good at becoming who I was always meant to be…
with a little help from the Afterlove, and from Liam guiding the breadcrumbs.
