What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?
Hands down, it’s always been December for me.
Growing up, it meant counting down the days to my birthday and Christmas — the best kind of double excitement. I loved baking Christmas cookies, decorating everything in sight, and feeling that cosy winter magic in the air.
Now that I live in the Canary Islands, December feels completely different — in the best way.
Instead of freezing temperatures and snow, it’s +25°C, sunshine, and a Christmas tree glowing out on the balcony. It’s a new kind of magic, warm and golden, but it still feels like home.
