Daily Prompt—2122

This is one of those questions that sounds simple… until you start thinking about it.
I’ve lived in three very different places in my life:

🇬🇧 The UK, where my earliest childhood memories live.
🇳🇴 Norway, where I grew up, raised my kids, built routines, and discovered who I was.
🇮🇨 The Canary Islands, where my body finally exhaled for the first time in years.

And the truth is…
I already live in the place my soul feels most at peace.

Life here on the islands is calm, warm, gentle.
Yes, things sometimes run on mañana, mañana time — like when you need the plumber and he arrives next week… or next month 😅
But the pace is exactly what my spirit needed.

Here, the sunsets feel like healing.
The ocean feels like a reset button.
And even on the hard days, the air holds a softness that reminds me to breathe.

Maybe one day life will take me somewhere else — because destiny has its own winds.
But right now?
Home is here. In the quiet. Under this sky. On this little volcanic rock floating in the Atlantic.

And maybe… it’s not about where you live.
Maybe it’s about where your soul stops running.
