When we moved here to the islands,
I didn’t bring many of my crystals or spiritual tools.
A fresh start, light luggage…
but part of me felt a little bare without them.

One day, we decided to explore a town we’d never visited before.
It was one of those dusty-sunny market days — colourful stalls, music,
the smell of spices and fresh fruit drifting around every corner.

And then I saw it:
a stall filled with spiritual treasures.
I swear my Libra Moon began screaming,
“Touch everything!” 😂

The vendor told me they also had a physical shop just up the street…
so off I went.
As soon as I stepped inside —
wow.
It felt like being a child in a candy shop…
but instead of sugar, it was sound bowls, incense, crystals, feathers,
dreamcatchers dancing from the ceiling.

That day, I bought: ✨ two Tibetan singing bowls (yes, I couldn’t choose — Libra Moon!)
✨ a huge dreamcatcher
✨ a handful of crystals

My heart felt full again.

But the magic wasn’t over.

At the counter, the owner paused, looked at me very intently,
and said softly:
“Señora… you need this.”

He pressed something into my hand
— a medical-healing staff decorated with all the chakra stones.
And then he smiled and said,
“I will give it to you.
You know how to use it… intuitively.”

He tapped his finger toward my third eye.
His English was better than my Spanish
(though neither of us would win awards 😄),
but spirit speaks its own language.

I walked out feeling seen.
Recognised.
Like this little island had said,
“Welcome. We’ve been expecting you.”

We kept visiting that shop again and again until we later moved to another island.
Still… I have the chakra staff.
I use it intuitively, just as he said.

And every time I do,
I remember the moment magic found me
in the middle of an ordinary street market
on an ordinary day
that became anything but.
