Daily prompt-2099

What major historical events do you remember?

There are so many moments that have shaped the world — and shaped me too.
But the ones that have never left my heart are:

The fall of the Berlin Wall.

The protests in China, when people were run over by military tanks.

The Kuwait War — the beginning of the Gulf conflict.

And the 11th of September, 2001.

That last one still echoes in my memory. I had given birth in May to my third child, and life was filled with the soft rhythm of caring for a newborn — sleepless nights, the scent of milk, the quiet awe of new life.
Yet for months before it happened, I kept having dreams — vivid, haunting, and impossible to ignore. Planes, towers, smoke. I didn’t understand what they meant until that day came.

It taught me something powerful — that even when you live on another continent, the soul can feel the tremors of what is to come. The collective energy of humanity travels far beyond borders.

Some events don’t just live in history books; they live in us.
