Daily prompt-2094

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Lazy days always make me feel a bit guilty. I’ve never been very good at slowing down — my mind wants to be doing, creating, writing, thinking. Learning to listen to my body is a lifelong battle, and every now and then it goes on strike, forcing me to stop and breathe.

When that happens, I try to remind myself that rest isn’t failure — it’s fuel. But still, there’s that little voice that whispers, “You should be doing more.”

My guilty pleasure on lazy days? Using my imagination anyway — sketching ideas, writing lyrics, dreaming up new creations… and maybe a bit of chocolate on the side, lol. 🍫

💫 Sometimes slowing down doesn’t mean you’ve stopped — it just means your soul is catching up.
