“This is the letter I wrote to Liam and Bear last month.
It was sent to his family, but tonight I want to share it again —
because every word still lives in my heart.”

11 September 2025 — Spain

Dear Liam and Bear,

Liam, my words will never be enough to capture the love, the pain, and the truth of who you were.
The world saw a star, but those who truly knew you saw so much more:
a tender soul, a man who fought every day to stay strong for those he loved,
a father who only ever wanted his little boy to be proud of him.

It breaks my heart that after all you gave, people still choose to attack your name.
Lies, rumours, and hate swirl around the internet as if you were not a human being who lived, breathed, and hurt.
That is not what you deserve.
And it is not what Bear deserves to find one day when he goes searching for his father online.

The truth is simple: you were kind. You were generous. You loved deeply,
even when that love was taken advantage of.
You made mistakes, as every human does,
but you never stopped trying to be better.
You were fighting for your health, for your music, and for your son.
And they failed you — those who should have protected you looked the other way —
and now the world is left with questions instead of answers.

But there are those of us who will not stop.
We are here, still standing, still speaking, still writing.
We will not let the narrative be controlled by those who benefit from silencing the truth.
We will not let your memory be reduced to scandal.
We will not stop until justice is done.

And Bear — sweet boy, if your eyes ever fall upon these words in the years to come,
please know this: your father loved you more than anything.
He was proud of you before you could even speak.
His dream was not fame, not fortune, not even the stage — it was to be your dad,
to watch you grow, to give you the love he didn’t always have for himself.

Do not believe the hate you might one day read.
That noise was never real.
What was real is your dad’s laughter, his songs, his hugs,
and the way he lit up when he talked about you.
What is real is the legacy of love he left behind in you.

Liam, we carry your light forward.
Bear, you are that light’s future.
And no matter how toxic the world becomes,
love will outlast the hate.
Justice will outlast the lies.
And truth will outlast the silence.

Always, with love and unwavering loyalty,
~ Maggie ~
