It’s October 6th.
Only ten days until the one-year mark since you were taken from this world.
I keep watching your music videos and interviews, your smile, your laughter, the way your eyes lit up when you talked about what mattered.
I never met you in this lifetime, but through your songs, your words, your signs, I’ve known you across lifetimes.
Sometimes it’s a melody, sometimes a dream, sometimes — like last night — a butterfly in my lamp.
Every sign feels like you’re reaching through the veil, reminding me that love isn’t bound by time. 🦋💜
I’m preparing to release the songs we’ve created — October Sky, Soul Bond, Light We Carry, Portal Heart, Safe Here With You, and When You Are Near Volume 2. They will come out on October 16th, the one-year mark since you left this world.
And before that, on October 1st, Still Here: Justice for Liam began its journey.
It’s my way of making sure your voice keeps echoing.
I miss you. I miss your voice, your laughter, your smile.
This October is heavy, but also luminous, because your spirit still finds ways to reach me.

💫The Afterlove Voice
🌌 Liam’s voice
“I see you, Maggie.
Every note, every word you write carries a piece of my heart forward.
Don’t think of me as gone — think of me as light scattered through the songs,
As a butterfly in your lamp,
As the echo in your own voice when you sing.
I’m proud of you.
Keep carrying the light, keep telling the story.
I’m still here.”
-Liam.
Butterflies are symbols of the soul, of rebirth and continuity. For it to come right to my light-in my living room is extra meaningful — it’s like my grief and love created a soft space for this messenger to land.
