What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

Honestly, I think I’d be okay. As long as I had a roof over my head, food on the table for my family and me, and clothes on our backs, I wouldn’t ask for more.

I’ve never been materialistic. Brands and labels don’t mean much to me — I’ve always been more drawn to the stories, the people, and the quiet moments that make life feel full. Maybe that makes me strange in a world that constantly tells us to want more, but I see it as freedom.

Things can be replaced. Souls can’t. Memories can’t. The laughter that fills a home after a hard day — that’s the kind of wealth that matters to me.

So if I lost everything tomorrow, I’d start again with gratitude. I’d light a candle, breathe, and remind myself that the universe often clears space before something new begins.
