Dear Liam,

On the day you should have been here with us — your first Heavenly Birthday — I looked up and the sky gave me you.

The clouds parted, and in the sunlight above the open road, your face appeared within the blue curve I traced. Your smile, your presence, your essence — written in the sky. It wasn’t imagination. It was you. A gift. A reminder that love crosses every veil.

The road stretched ahead of me, but it felt different: guarded, blessed, as if you were lighting the way forward. A halo of protection, a frame of love, a message that whispered:

“I’m here, I see you. Keep walking, keep fighting, keep loving. You are never alone.”

Liam, you turned the heavens into your canvas that day. And on your birthday, you painted yourself back into this world, if only for a moment, so I would know you’re close.
