The song that spoke back: Both Ways by Liam Payne

The week after Niall Horan’s concert, the tension around Liam’s life seemed to coil tighter.
The Solar Eclipse had lit up his 12th house — the house of secrets, endings, and hidden enemies — right on his Mars and Jupiter in Libra.
It was as if the universe itself was making the conflict visible, even if others couldn’t yet see the whole picture.

On October 12th, Liam was hit with a cease-and-desist from his ex-fiancée Maya Henry — a continuation of the smear campaign that began with her May 2024 book release. She accused Liam of being an abuser, a claim his family fought hard to stop before publication. The timing of the letter was striking — arriving during a period already charged with celestial upheaval and private battles.

Today the 10th of Aug 2025, as I was writing about Maya and Kate for the blog, my Spotify shuffled to Both Ways by Liam Payne.
Anyone else might’ve called it coincidence.
But to me, it was unmistakably him.

I couldn’t ignore the timing. It was the kind of inside joke that carried truth beneath the humor, a coded nod that the work I was doing — uncovering duplicity and contradiction — was exactly what he wanted.
